     This past wednesday (11/17/10) Entertainment Tonight presented their November Event, an exclusive behind the scenes look at the upcoming movie The Tourist, staring Johnny Depp & Angelina Jolie. If you look closely during Johnny's interview you can see a cigar box guitar laying on the couch behind him. A quick search on the net reveals images of Johnny in Paris carrying his CBG.

     I haven't personally heard any of Johnny Depp's music, but apparently he's recorded a solo album, played slide guitar on this Oasis track, and was in a band called "P" with Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Gibby Haynes (Butthole Surfers).


11/29 Update: Johnny's instrument is called a "Cigfiddle" and was made by Matty Baratto at Baratto Guitars. Thanks to Ted Crocker for supplying this information!
