When i get my hands on a truly beautiful piece of timber I tend to save even the smallest scraps. Once in a while this comes in handy, but mostly it just takes up space. Just the same, i can't bring myself to discard or burn them. So.. for this cigar box guitar i've glued together scraps of Bloodwood, Ancient Kauri, Cocobolo, Ebony, Lacewood, Mahogany, Yellow Heart, Purple Heart, & Paduak. The intersection of each wood type indicates a fret location.
